Civil War Dug Restored With a removable dug 1861 Schenkel Fuse.
Shell was flushed and preserved for display and is completely safe. the removable fuse is from another shell to complete the look. the fuse now is not threadable it slides in and out for display only,

This 9 pounder was dug by on private land with permission. Location Red River Campaign in Louisiana.
I personally restored the shell and added a dug correct fuse for show.
You can remove the fuse or display with.
This shell blew the fuse out the front when it was fired. I will include the lower part of fuse that was recovered from in the shell. (See pictures)
